הוצאת הספרים ששר הוקמה בשנת 1991 על ידי העיתונאי והסופר מיכאל ששר (1933- 2006). כיום מתמחה הוצאת הספרים בכתיבה והוצאה לאור של ביוגרפיות וספרי היסטוריה משפחתית. צוות ההוצאה כולל חוקרים, כותבים, עורכים ומעצבים. ההוצאה מעניקה שירותים בכל אחד מן התחומים הללו ליחידים ולמשפחות, המעוניינים להעלות את סיפורם על הכתב ו/או להוציאו לאור כספר מודפס או דיגיטלי.

מייסד ההוצאה
Michael Shashar (Schereshevsky), was an Israeli Journalist and writer. Shashar wrote hundreds of essays and articles about Judaism, Israel, Politics and Jewish thought and was the author of 18 books among them conversations with well known Israeli figures. Several of his books were translated into English and German.

מיכאל ששר (שרשבסקי), היה עיתונאי ואיש הגות ישראלי. ששר כתב מאות מאמרים בענייני יהדות, ישראל, פוליטיקה והגות וכן כתב ספרים רבים ובהם ספרי ראיונות עם אישים רבי השפעה על החברה הישראלית.

Jerusalem-born and a mother of five, Noa Shashar is a historian of the Jewish Family. Noa Specializes in research and writing of personal and family histories and is a lecturer at the Sapir Academic College.
