הוצאת הספרים ששר הוקמה בשנת 1991 על ידי העיתונאי והסופר מיכאל ששר (1933- 2006). כיום מתמחה ההוצאה בכתיבה והוצאה לאור של ביוגרפיות וספרי היסטוריה משפחתית. צוות ההוצאה כולל חוקרים, כותבים, עורכים ומעצבים. ההוצאה מעניקה שירותים בכל אחד מן התחומים הללו ליחידים ולמשפחות, המעוניינים להעלות את סיפורם על הכתב ו/או להוציאו לאור כספר מודפס או דיגיטלי.
Founded in 1991 by Israeli journalist and author Michael Shashar, Shashar Publishing specializes in writing and publishing family histories and biographies. Our team of researchers, writers, editors, and designers helps individuals and families tell their stories and publishes them in print or electronic format.

מיכאל ששר
מייסד ההוצאה
Michael Shashar (Schereshevsky), was an Israeli Journalist and writer. Shashar wrote hundreds of essays and articles about Judaism, Israel, Politics and Jewish thought and was the author of 18 books among them conversations with well known Israeli figures. Several of his books were translated into English and German.
מיכאל ששר (שרשבסקי), היה עיתונאי ואיש הגות ישראלי. ששר כתב מאות מאמרים בענייני יהדות, ישראל, פוליטיקה והגות וכן כתב ספרים רבים ובהם ספרי ראיונות עם אישים רבי השפעה על החברה הישראלית.

Noa Shashar is a historian of the Jewish family, she hold a Ph.D. in Jewish History from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Noa writes and edits biographies, family albums, and scholarly books.
